He received his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara in 1985.
He started his specialization at the Faculty of Medicine at Marmara University in the Department of Neurosurgery in 1988. During his specialization, he participated in many courses. In Germany, Spain, Israel and Belgium he also attended training courses of the World Neurosurgery Society (WFNS) in Antalya, Turkey.
He participated in many clinical studies at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, the University of Virginia and the University of Washington in 1992 and Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Department of Neurosurgery.
He became a neurosurgeon in February 1994. He completed his master's degree in Neurophysiology from Marmara University Institute of Health Sciences in March 1994.
In September 1994, he completed the 5th European Society of Neurosurgery (EANS) courses in Izmir Turkey and took the exams and was awarded the EANS Diploma.
After returning from America in 1997, he started a procedure Battery implants for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other motion sicknesses at Medical Park Hospital.
Where he implanted about 1,300 batteries for patients with tremor.
He has written more than 150 scientific articles
