About Prof. Dr. Bakr Toggi:

He was commissioned to set up a neurosurgical clinic in Basaksehir Jam Hospital and Sakura City, and he held this position Since May 2020.
Biography of Prof. Dr. Bakr Togji:
Prof. Dr. Bekir Tugji was born on August 31, 1970 in Rize. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. In 1998, he obtained a degree in Neurology Department of Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Then he completed his specialization and became a Neurologist in the Stroke Unit for one year in the same department. He was actively involved in establishing the Neuroscience Laboratory.
Prof. Dr. Bekir Tuğcı worked as Head of Education and Clinical Director in the Department of Neurosurgery at Bakirkoy Psychiatric Hospital and Bakirkoy Psychiatric and Neurological Hospital. In 2005, he completed his residency in the Clinic of Neurosurgery and became a Neurosurgeon. He assumed responsibility for teaching at the clinic in 2011 and has continued in this role until 2020.
He was appointed as a faculty member in the College of Medicine at the University of Health Sciences in 2017, and he continues to hold this position. He is also a member of the Academic Council of the Department of Neurosurgery and serves as the Chairman of the Academic Committee. In 2020 he moved to Basaksehir Çam Sakura Hospital in Istanbul and became a member of the Neurosurgery Clinic.
Prof. Dr. Bakr Toggi continues his studies in Movement Disorders Surgery and Epilepsy Surgery. He has played a pioneering role in establishing the movement disorder and epilepsy surgery practice in the hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health. He participated in the Board of Directors of the Society of Neurosurgery in 2016 and assumed the position of the second president in 2017. He also chaired the Turkish Society of Neurosurgery, Functional Stereotaxic Pain and Epilepsy.
He was serving on the Board of Directors of the Surgical Education and Training Group from 2017 to 2019, and currently continues as the second chair of the same group. Besides his professional life, Dr. Bakr Togji is engaged in the art of photography. He holds the title of international photographer and participates in basic photography courses in associations. He has opened two solo exhibitions, published albums, and participated in both associations.
He has given more than 100 presentations and interviews at scholarly meetings such as conferences. Currently, he continues his work as the Head of Clinical Training in Neurosurgery at Basaksehir Çam Sakura Hospital in Istanbul, and also serves as a member of the Clinical Specialization and Training Committee at the same hospital.
